11.11.2022, a special date, because the debut album "eleven" by the native Upper Austrian and Vienna-based solo artist "Li" was released on this day! Like all her previous songs, which she has always released on the 11th of the month, this album unerringly finds the right release day. For Li a lucky number that runs through like a red thread and signals that where there is an end, there is also a beginning....

The album was created in 2020, when Li returned to Austria from Dublin. A difficult time, unplannable and above all a challenge to leave everything behind, the artist said.
"I didn't want to go back - it was because of the pandemic."
But in the end it was all good, she can now say in retrospect.
Sometimes you get lost along on the way.
These 11 songs, among others, were written during this phase.
A mix of emotional worlds that take the listener on a deep, melancholic journey.
Her lyrics and clear voice accompanied by violin, keyboard and kalimba, which she recorded and arranged herself with bass, drums and synthesizers in the DAW Ableton - result in this wonderful, gloomy carpet of sound and make it a coherent body of work. A unique musical style between pop, electronic, trip hop as well as folkloric influences.
